On the 7th of June, I was honored to meet with H.E. Mr. Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi, Prime Minister of Iraq. I presented a congratulatory letter from Prime Minister Takaichi, and we exchanged views on bilateral relations.

في 7 من حزيران، تشرفتُ بلقاء دولة رئيس وزراء العراق، السيد علي فالح الزيدي، حيث قمتُ بتسليم رسالة تهنئة من رئيسة الوزراء تاكائيتشي، وتبادلنا وجهات النظر بشأن العلاقات الثنائية.

On the 4th of June, I was honored to meet with H.E. Mr. Nizar Amedi, President of Iraq. I presented a congratulatory letter from Prime Minister Takaichi, and we exchanged views on bilateral relations.

We congratulate the formation of the new cabinet under the leadership of PM @AliFalihAlzaidy. Japan wishes them success in uniting all parties toward further stability and prosperity and looks forward to working closely with the Al-Zaidi Cabinet for the stability of the ME region

ألقت رئيسة الوزراء تاكايتشي خطابًا حول السياسة الخارجية في جامعة فيتنام الوطنية في هانوي، تناولت فيه تطورات منطقة المحيطين الهندي والهادئ الحرة والمفتوحة. حضر الفعالية معالي وزير خارجية جمهورية فيتنام الاشتراكية السيد لي هواي ترونغ ورئيس الجامعة السيد بوي ثي دوي.

PM TAKAICHI delivered a foreign policy speech at Vietnam National University, Hanoi, including the evolution of the Free and Open Indo-Pacific (FOIP), during her visit to Viet Nam. H.E. Mr. Le Hoai Trung, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, and Mr. Bui The Duy, President of Vietnam National University, Hanoi attended the event.

On May 4th, I met with Mr. Aamer al-Fayez, the head of Tasmeem Alliance's parliamentary bloc and Chairman of the Council of Representatives' Foreign Affairs Committee, to discuss Japan's economic cooperation and the formation of a new Iraqi government.

في الرابع من أيار، التقيت رئيس الكتلة النيابية لتحالف تصميم ورئيس لجنة الشؤون الخارجية بمجلس النواب السيد عامر الفايز لمناقشة التعاون الاقتصادي مع اليابان وتشكيل حكومة عراقية جديدة.

في يومي 25 و30 نيسان، دعيت أعضاء من مجلس النواب العراقي إلى السفارة لمناقشة مشاركتهم القادمة في برنامج تدريب جايكا في اليابان.

On the 25th and 30th of April, I invited members of the Council of Representatives of Iraq to the embassy to discuss their upcoming participation in JICA training program in Japan.

The Embassy of Japan in Iraq congratulates the designation of Mr. Ali al-Zaidi as the designated PM. Japan values Iraq as a key country and intends to continue supporting bilateral relations. Japan wishes Mr. al-Zaidi success in forming a government for Iraqi prosperity.

On 30 March, I held a productive meeting with Mr. Qasim Al-Araji, National Security Advisor of Iraq. We discussed enhancing security cooperation and exchanged views on issues of mutual interest, including the current regional situation.
