Today, I’ll expose exactly how big a fraud Dhruv Rathee is.

This man lives comfortably in Germany, yet he happily pockets money from India’s enemies to relentlessly target our country.

Two months ago, he dropped a video blaming the Modi govt for the heatwave in India. According to him, deforestation, carbon emissions, and coal power plants are the real culprits. He even tried to provoke people by demanding that the govt pay Rs 4 lakh compensation to every victim of the heatwave.

Fast forward to now: his own country Germany is currently roasting in a heatwave worse than India’s. They have abundant forests, have phased out coal power plants, and most households don’t even have ACs. Yet this selective “environmentalist” is completely silent about his own German govt.
Not a single critical video.
No outrage.
No compensation demands.

The truth is crystal clear: heatwaves are a global phenomenon. But paid fraud Dhruv Rathee deliberately ignores Europe’s crisis and targets only India and PM Modi because that’s what his paymasters want.

Hypocrisy level: Expert.
Patriotism level: For Sale.

There is a basic ethical principle involved here that goes far beyond one poster or one campus event.

A university, public platform, or intellectual space can host criticism of any religion, tradition, scripture, or social practice. Debate, dissent, reform, and even sharp polemic are all part of free thought. But the moment an event is framed with the language of “annihilate Hinduism,” it crosses from criticism into something far darker. It is normalization of eliminationist rhetoric against an entire civilizational faith.

That is the real issue. Would any institution casually permit an event titled “Annihilate Islam” or “Annihilate Christianity” and expect the world to treat it as harmless academic expression? Of course not. There would be immediate outrage, international condemnation, statements from activists, op-eds, pressure campaigns, and calls for action. The same people currently defending this would suddenly rediscover the language of hate, safety, dignity, and minority protection.

So I want to ask all of those defending it a very simple question. Do we believe in one universal standard, or do we believe some communities can be spoken about with contempt that would never be tolerated for others?

If hatred dressed up as intellectualism is unacceptable for one religion, it is unacceptable for all. Equal respect cannot be selective.
