Today marks DAY 2 of building Pilotype in public!
I launched the MVP of https://t.co/X12GlaPnun yesterday and I'm excited to share some updates.
Updates:
1. It seems developers are the first to understand its value coming from tools like co-pilot and cursor in their ide and transferring the concept to the browser. I'm super excited about this early validation!
2. Actively collecting user feedback. I've already had some great conversations with early users, and their insights are proving invaluable in shaping the future of Pilotype.
3. Marketing strategy. I'm exploring different avenues to reach a wider audience. I'm thinking about creating short, engaging videos showcasing Pilotype in action. Any thoughts or suggestions on this would be helpful?
Challenges:
1. Its an MVP so finding time to balance development and marketing is definitely tough.
2. Such a weird feeling using it in prod and not being able to fix bugs immediately knowing it will be a 1 week process to get an update approved in the chrome web store kinda sucks.
Conclusion:
Feels like im struggling a little bit with "product imposter syndrome" (idk if thats a thing but if not im inventing it). I dont think I shipped too early because the product is valuable in id say 80% of typing instances, but now that im typing even more to promote I do see where it needs work.
If you got this far in this post and are interested in the product I recommend just checking it out I find it most useful talking to chatGPT or replying to X posts.
