Both can be true:
1. Mark Stoops raised the standard and expectation for Kentucky football by being successful and having good defenses
2. Mark Stoops is no longer the coach who should be leading Kentucky football and a change needs to happen
@Andie00471 My wife is a 1st & 2nd grade teacher in a combined classroom. Her school doesn’t have a large budget, so we typically cover the cost of her classroom supplies/upgrades each year https://t.co/EU4Hr8VvAn

Mark Pope not being included in the Coach of the Year Watch List is a joke.
-Constructed an entirely new team in a month after taking the Kentucky job
-18-8 record (7-6 CONF) with the #6 strength of schedule
-5 wins vs Top 10 teams
-7 wins vs Top 25 teams
-Wins over the current #2, #3, #6 x2, #7, #21, & #25 ranked teams
-Has only had a completely healthy roster for 8 games
-3-1 in games with NO PG and the only player who he has ever coached. Currently has a Center running the offense
There are certainly coaches with amazing resumes this year, but to say there are 15 coaches more deserving than Mark Pope is undeniably ignorant
