INVESTEC'S STRATEGY—A WINNING FORMULA

Investec's international strategy is thriving, especially in Switzerland, where funds under management grew by 11.9% to £2.67-billion (R60-billion) in six months. This increase reflects a 25% rise over the past year.

Targeting high net worth South Africans, Investec aims to diversify their investments in a stable tax environment.

Additionally, the UAE is a focus area, with a new office opened in Dubai to serve wealthy clients. Overall, Investec reported a 7.6% increase in adjusted operating profit, with total revenue up 5.6% to £1.1 billion.

The group continues to seek growth opportunities while maintaining strong returns on equity.
