We found a large rise in the number for-profit affiliated EM programs over the past 5 years.
In addition, for-profit affiliated EM programs paid residents almost $4000 LESS than non-profit affiliated programs!
For-profit involvement in GME is growing,but little is known about for-profit affiliated residency programs.
Our new research examines the growth of these programs in IM, GS and Peds and compares board pass rates with their nonprofit peers.
