It feels like Notre Dame is spending big in football NIL, but how are the Irish viewed within the college football industry? And how much is Notre Dame actually spending?
I asked around.
"They're a big-time spender."

Yes, please. I vote we punt the Kent State game out 5 years or whatever it takes to make the schedule fit for them, play Tech in 27 and 28. Still have an opening on the 28 schedule anyways.

“I keep hearing how Notre Dame is supposed to be a national title contender, and how great CJ Carr is…they just lost two 1st round picks in that backfield.”
“It does feel like I know a little more about Miami.”
@jdpickell & @JakeCrain_ on Miami’s 2026 matchup with Notre Dame
@davidadamcone@jdpickell@JakeCrain_@Blain_Crain@On3 We do? Really? Notre Dame lost a couple studs at RB, no doubt. Miami lost a couple studs at DE, and they are the reason Miami beat ND last year. Miami has 4 new OL starters, 3 new DL starters, new QB who lost to Tulane, UConn, Virginia, Ga Tech and Illinois.
This is an awful take and if you support it then you don’t support history or tradition. Notre Dame won more titles with the mustard gold pants than any other.
