@rohanpaul_ai Problem is, who will pay for running all the services that no longer have human traffic? If AI chatbot services get all the traffic from humans and the rest of the internet is only accessed by bots, then reprocessed for humans, business model of the web breaks...
@HectorGome995@dpoddolphinpro You need to learn about the cultural differences. In China copying is considered the smart thing to do and there is nothing negative about it in their view. And in some way that is the reasonable take when thinking practically.
@elonmusk So, how to solve the financial side? Current sites either get money from the traffic (ads) or via paywalls. Bots don't look at ads, so if bot traffic shoots up (costs go up for site owners) but ad revenue goes down, everything will be paywalled then?
@Jen56617559114@SpaceX You should probably go back to school. Spent second stage is few tons of metal on a specific trajectory in space. Blowing it up does not change that. It just becomes a cloud of few tons of metal on roughly the same trajectory. It would not change anything.
@SpaceX All that epic on-orbit imagery to get heat shield data and... then it refuses to blow up on landing and presents itself for close-up inspection instead :D
Still, extremely cool imagery and explains why it took a while to get this out, needed to stitch it together.
@elonmusk Hate to say this, but that appears incorrect. This is from a camera on the booster just after staging. Starlinks were deployed in darkness and I haven't seen any images published that were taken by them during Flight 13.
@ICannot_Enough@elonmusk He knew it all along. Secret advanced weather forecast AI model. Just trying to hide it with the correction to pretend Thursday was in play.
@financialjuice Fix your broken AI bot. And yes, obviously an account like this posts stuff automated, that is not news or a surprise. Surprise is that the automation can break like this.
@SawyerMerritt@Tesla Quick translation: Our own carmakers are hopelessly behind, so we going to stall this as long as we possibly can. Best politicians money can buy and all that.
@EsioanN@shanaka86 You should get some education before you start writing utter crap pretending you know better than the leading rocket company in the world. It would help avoid making you look silly.
@elonmusk@brivael General status in Europe: It is all socialist. "Conservatives" are socialist-light and actual socialists are varying degrees of communist (by US definition of a communist).
@SenTomCotton Buying memory chips does not matter for privacy or security, there is no logic components or software involved. It is just.. bulk DRAM. This is like saying buying bulk capacitors from China is somehow a security issue.
@PatrickETash@asherbphotos@DJSnM@LaunchHeavenX Well, if you carefully look around the edges of the area, little bits of the rocket can be seen all over the place. So, technically not quite true :)
@BoosterTribe@BellikOzan Starlink 9-3. Second stage engine failed to do the insertion due to propellant leak. Satellites deployed to lower-than-intended orbit and burned up. (CRS-7 is the other failure and CRS-1 the partial where a secondary payload ended up in too low orbit due to engine out)
@BetterCallMedhi Fundamental issue: In China directly copying what works is regarded as the smart thing to do. In the west, any copying is considered to be cheap and you generally can't do that unless you somehow introduce your own twist to the design...
@r0ck3t23 Nice theory that assumes infinite energy and infinite raw materials. Since neither is infinite, the effect will be far less than predicted here.
@dlcapitalsol@haider1 They *prefer* to hire americans because that way they do not need to go thru the massive red tape that ITAR requires for non-citizen. It is not a 100% requirement - Elon even mentions in the video. Possibly not worth the hassle, that is true.
