🚨 Another £90m borrowed by Manchester United!
Before the Glazers arrived in 2005, Manchester United were effectively debt-free. Their leveraged takeover transformed the club’s financial structure and loaded it with hundreds of millions in debt.
Twenty-one years later, supporters are still having conversations about debt when we’re talking about one of the biggest and most commercially powerful football clubs in the world.
This is why supporters involved in #BoycottUnited believe the pressure has to be consistent.
Not for one day. Not for one week. Not until a hashtag stops trending.
Keep organising. Keep questioning. Keep making your voice heard.

🚨 Today’s focus is MUTV and official Manchester United merchandise. ❤️
Supporting Manchester United doesn’t have to mean blindly spending money through every official channel.
If you believe change is needed and want to participate, cancelling MUTV and choosing not to buy official merchandise are two peaceful ways of making your feelings known through your own spending decisions.
Nobody can force another supporter to participate. But those who want to boycott can make an individual choice that becomes far more powerful when thousands make it together.
Hated. Adored. MUTV Ignored.

Manchester United's latest accounts show £63.5m has been spent on buying land for their new stadium.
#MUFC also announce record revenues of £677.6m and a £22.6m operating profit despite the financial year seeing the club playing without European football.
The club saved £8.5m on a potential £16.5m payment to Ruben Amorim, which stopped when he took the Milan job.
However, the club's overall debt is still at over £1bn.
🔰❤️ This is OUR United. We won’t give up. We meant it when we said ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.
LET’S SAVE OUR CLUB.
Today, we’re taking a different approach. Check the replies and follow the steps. 👇

Manchester United’s debt has reduced overall from £1.3bn at the end of December 2025, but has it come at the cost of a lack of investment on the field? 🤔
In the summer transfer window, they spent less than a third on player recruitment compared to Man City, with newly-promoted Ipswich Town also paying out more in transfer fees than United did 📉
