Earlier today I wrote a poorly judged tweet referencing previous experiences in my professional life.
I realised very quickly that it could be misinterpreted and so I deleted it immediately.
I apologise wholeheartedly for any offence I may have caused.
I have a lot of respect for the Home Secretary and will continue working hard for our country.
No, no, no!!
You don't get to apologise for a poorly judged Tweet.
Its a serious criminal offence, now known to be a Cat 1A charge.
Straight to prison with you, NO BAIL, no mitigation!
I didn't make the rules! 🤷♀️
BREAKING
Sir Keir Starmer rebukes Shabana Mahmood as he announces that Mike Tapp will stay on as immigration minister
Downing Street said: 'it is not for any individual secretary of state to determine whether the ministerial code has been followed, it is a matter for the prime minister alone'
By the standards of official statements it is punchy, to say the least. Relations between Mahmood and Starmer hit a new nadir
'Mike Tapp has been reminded of his obligations under the ministerial code including collective responsibility and procedures relating to the clearance and presentation of government policy'
Currently a bit of speculation about the role of Josh Simons. Whatever some people's concerns, the reality is Andy Burnham believes he wouldn't be preparing to be Prime Minister if it wasn't for Simons. He's going to be a key part of the Burnham operation moving forward.

How strange it is to look upon the streets of England before they were dominated by cars. Notice too how clean and charming it all looks despite the lack of facilities they had to keep things tidy compared to today.

EXCLUSIVE:
Andy Burnham is expected to appoint a former Blairite cabinet minister who is one of his oldest political allies as his chief of staff as he seeks to overhaul No 10
James Purnell, who served as pensions minister, culture secretary, and work and pensions secretary in the New Labour governments of Sir Tony Blair and Gordon Brown, is the frontrunner for the role, The Times has been told
He is said to be viewed by Burnham as a “serious figure” who is capable of implementing his radical plans to reform Downing Street and Whitehall
The pair, who entered parliament together in 2001, shared an office as novice Greater Manchester MPs, with Burnham representing Leigh and Purnell holding Stalybridge & Hyde
Burnham frequently joked that he was overlooked for broadcast interviews in favour of Purnell, who was educated in France and Surrey
Purnell is chief executive of Flint Global, a major PR and lobbying firm, a role that may present issues over potential conflicts of interest in government

The BBC says it wants to orientate its News Channel to international rather than British audiences because it can generate revenues internationally. Fair enough. But why should British licence payers pay for it?
DAN HODGES: Starmer has been a toxic catastrophe. His legacy is of betrayal, sleaze and lies. And this is what his apologist, deceitful allies are plotting now https://t.co/86VqJDT619
Come, now. Starmer has not been a good or effective PM but he’s a decent public servant who took Labour from electoral & moral depths, as one of only two leaders born in the last 100 years to win an election. And he took the right side in Ukraine’s just war of self-defence.
As evidenced by Lord Alli, the Mandelson scandal, the scapegoating of civil-servants, the scapegoating of his staff, the desperate attempts to cling to power until the bitter end…
