We know there is 101 way to cook things. For me the humble roast lamb is no different and this is just 1 of many ways to cook a lamb leg, is it my favourite? No. Is it the best way to cook it? No. But putting this leg of lamb in a cast iron pot at 150⁰ to set & forget is easy.
Steak cooked over the camp fire or charcoal grill has a unique flavour that a standard frying pan using gas or convection just can't come close to.
What's your thoughts, is it worth the preparation time to get that beautiful rendered fat cooked over charcoal and flames?
