People are pulling out their own teeth! This dentist is so concerned he’s started a petition calling for the Government to take real action - fast - to fix our dental crisis. I’ve signed – will you join us?

My friend Emily Fuller is fundraising for Willen Hospice. Check out their @JustGiving page and please donate if you can. Thank you! #JustGiving https://t.co/5MOkb8SMN4
After watching Ch4 #Dispatches tonight and then having a #TheCure night, seems appropriate to dust off this clip of Robert Smith. My sentiments exactly. And on the same weekend when those in privileged positions are calling people on benefits parasites.

This is now ridiculous. UK news shows have been repeatedly citing the OBR’s figures on growth but no one has pointed out to viewers the same report lays bare the Catastrophic cost of Brexit!
We face poor growth & a record tax burden. If you think UK news shows need to step up RT
#PostOfficeScandal#PostOfficeInquiry#StateCoverUp “On 22 February 2022, the Post Office Remuneration Committee met and agreed to reward its Senior Leadership with generous and avaricious Bonuses - wrongly judging that an Inquiry co-operation metric, devised by its own CEO Nick GREAD, had been 100% achieved.
One wonders if they were also following the Inquiry proceedings on that day. Because 22 February 2022 was also the day PARMOD KALIA gave the Inquiry his Human Impact evidence.
He served half of a 6-month prison sentence, 23 hours a day in lockdown.
Once released, it was impossible for him to find permanent employment because of his conviction.
He suffered depression, anxiety, and shame and he attempted suicide three times.
His eldest son had to give up on his ambitions to become an electrical engineer because he had to run the shop whilst his father was in prison.
During that time his youngest daughter, aged 6 or 7, had to get up at 4am so she could help at the shop 10 miles away. She’d sleep behind the counter after school before going home at 11pm.
The shame upon Parmod’s family within the Asian community was so profound, his eldest son had to look for a wife from outside the UK.
Parmod was refused an interim payment by the Post Office. He later felt ‘bullied’ into accepting a derisory final offer saying ‘I just didn’t have the energy to fight them’.
But it’s unlikely that members of the RemCo were following Parmod’s story on the day he gave his evidence.
Because that was the day they were busy bending the rules to pay a bonus whose metric couldn’t possibly be 100% achieved whilst this Statutory Inquiry was still ongoing.”

“It is my sad duty to announce that Mrs Gill Blakey… passed away last week.”
Yesterday, Sir Wyn extended his sympathies to the friends and family of Gill Blakey, a former sub-postmaster, whose lawyer confirmed did not receive full compensation before her passing.
@RentersReformCo Needs to be 12 months notice. Treat investing in BTL not as an instant access or 2 month fix savings account but as a 365 day notice account. Need time find a place, to save (moving is expensive), to move (takes alot of time) and prevent children needing to move schools mid year
@Right_2Roam I dont have the energy/twitter wordcount limitations prevent my response on here to this narcissist so thank you for holding him to account.

There’s a way to STOP next week’s 10% energy Price Cap rise!
I show you how in this video briefing (courtesy of @GMB), then use the MSE cheap energy club to find the right deal for you.

@RentersReformCo@a_darling_tom@PoliticsJOE_UK Proposed 4 months notice is still ridiculous. It should be 12 months. Various life points and costs are on yearly contracts. Children having to move schools midway through a year as there is no alternative property, caring responsibilities thrown up in the air.
