70 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗ ਬਾਪੂ ਲਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਸਰੂਪਵਾਲ ਦੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਨ। ਬਾਪੂ ਜੀ ਦਿਹਾੜੀ ਕਰਕੇ ਤੇ ਇਕ ਤੰਬੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਗੁਜ਼ਾਰਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ । ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਸਾਲਾ ਦੀ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਵੀ ਉਹ ਆਪਣਾ ਪੱਕਾ ਕਮਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਾ ਸਕੇ । ਖਾਲਸਾ ਏਡ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਬਾਪੂ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਪੱਕਾ ਘਰ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਲਈ ਗਈ ਹੈ ।
