Probably why i am so quiet on here.
Like had a perfume update i wanted to drop but how can i be so casually tweeting about useless stuff when children, actual children have been in kidnappers den for days and counting?
What sort of country is this?
Scar from the Lion King.
He is the only lion there that behaved like a lion. Mufasa was running that Kingdom like a circus. "Hey, look. I know I eat you but I really like you. Come look at my son who will grow up to eat you". Busy involving monkeys in lion affairs and leaving his brother to have no choice but to form frienships with the enemy hyenas.
He had every right to fight for that throne because that is what male lions do. He didn't even kill that dude, it was the wildebeests that finished him off. The same ones he was doing musicals with.
To show that he was right, Simba started a new life of eating bugs when he ran away because he has the same weak genes as his father. When there was a drought, Scar didn't eat bugs. He kept it real and starved, but they made it seem like the drought was his fault. He was leading in difficult times!
When it was now convenient and the rains were coming, your Bug Eating king came back to take on a starving Scar while he had a stomach full of caterpillars and cockroaches because even when living with prey he is not the leader.
Scar's only mistake was letting Simba live. If he killed that little dude then the rains would come and the Kingdom would thrive again under his leadership. But no, he let him live and he came back when it was convenient because he can only lead in good times like his useless father.
Mufasa and Simba were good dudes, Scar was just a real lion. Which is what you would expect in a movie about lions π€¦πΎββοΈ
Omo... this topic has to be treated with care and caution o.
Religious, moral, societal perspective differs.
A woman that carries the child for 9 months go feel say dem no wan make she get say in naming of her own child??
Father in law will be coming from a cultural angle that he's the baba Omo.
Religious perspective might say something else too
Above all, Allah Allam
Its actually crazy and the standards are so unfair. The young ladys hair was neatly and nicely done.
That is what an African hair, without all the gels and products, should look like.
Let me tell you about the picture in Frame 1.
In August 2017, as a litigation lawyer in Lagos, I had work to do that required me to be at the office during the weekend.
There was only one problem that weekend.
I had a 16 months old son, no nanny and no one to leave him with at home so I asked my boss if I could bring him with me and she was gracious enough to agree. While I was working, my son fell asleep and I had to lay him down on the floor beside my table.
In that moment, I took a picture of him sleeping and made a promise to myself that if I ever had my own firm, at some point in that journey, no woman working with me who had a caregiver emergency and needs to be at work will have to lay her baby on the floor.
That same day, I thought of my struggles as a breastfeeding mother in the workplace and promised again that no woman working with me who had a baby will ever have to struggle for a private space to use her breast pump at work, relieve her aching breast to focus and save some quality milk for her baby.
Frame 2
Today, we finished the renovation of our office building complete with a nursing room.
Litigation is tough for women.
The firm should not make it tougher.
Strichland LP has a nursing room and today, by the grace of God, I kept that promise.

Logical people una.
Why is she being forced to talk about false rape accusation. Thatβs my point. Why her. What did she do to you guys. Why is she the only one being bullied to talk about something you want her to talk about. Whatβs so special about her voice ? That deserves this level of bullying ?
How is 'STOP RAPING WOMEN' causing this sort of downward spiral in some of you? Is it more than this?
How is STOP RAPING WOMEN = I SUPPORT FALSE ACCUSERS???
Its one issue. You pple are forcing her to take on an entirely different issue. Why?
Is it more than this?
So much is happening.
But the one that is still mind blowing to me is going to work and not coming back because there was a fire in your office building.
Which means, all work done from like 6pmish till now would have been procrastinated till tomorrow. Then I'd do the carry forward tomorrow and push the ones for tomorrow to next tomorrow and the cycle goes on and on and on.
At this stage in my life, working from home is significantly better for me.
Today, I started working once my people left for school + work around 8am. Took a break to shower between noon and 12:20 as I had meetings back to back from 12:30 till like 4
Only just shutting down now.
If i had to go into the office, first of all, I wouldn't have started at 8am.
I have no issues leaving the office late but with my many 'titles', that is no longer an option.
Rarely have to strength to resume work at home after a long day at the office.
@__Chidimma_N This angle is not really my perspective o.
I won't say 'bold' or 'confident' because they choose not to wear makeup. To me, saying someone is confident because they dont wear makeup is tantamount to calling them 'ugly' shaaaa.
I'm leaning towards more of 'genuine'.
I 'like' Hilda Baci and Veekee James for a very weird reason.
They regularly go on camera bare faced. They just seem genuine TO ME because of that.
Believe me, the irony is not lost on me. ππ
