I had fab time at #GoogleIOConnect last week. It's funny it made me remember that 2012 I came up with idea for a game called Snappit, it never made it to release but friends and family of the @BigBite team played the beta.

And finally, accessible computer vision means we could identify if a user really had taken the requested picture and even offer bonuses for the picture if it had more one of the requested object.

We (@BigBite) have just launched our first commercial product, a WordPress plugin called Content Query (https://t.co/K0TkdP782E). It might not seem a big deal but we’ve been wanting to do this for years.

The idea for Content Query came out of a team chat about an issue on a project, and the person who suggested it was given the space to build it. Since then this has happened on other projects and we are doing our best to encourage these to built in the same way.

We are looking for someone to fill a new role at Big Bite: Engineering Mentor. It's something I've wanted to do for a good year now so I'm very excited 🙂 I thought it might be helpful to add some context about the role and how we got here.

I'm fully aware finding someone to fill this role may be difficult but our hope is we can support the right person to grow into the role, whether you are Teacher who needs support on the technical side of things or Engineering who needs support with teaching/mentoring.
