@HansMahncke Dear Hans. Go read the original NSABB P3CO document. It restricted GOF research of SARS and MERS, but also exempted related viruses collected in surveys. That P3CO was written as if to give Daszak's work the exemption. It's an agreggious guidance document. The NSABB were fools.
@SenatorDurbin Do the HSGAC Minority members support Fauci because of Rand Paul's partisan based attack of Fauci and do they not have their own curiosity about his alleged influence that may have prevented Biden's WH from hearing unbiased assessment.
@SenatorDurbin However, Rand Paul turned what should have been a serious bipartisan effort to get to the bottom of Fauci's influence and alleged conspiracy. He turned it into a partisan circus excluding Minority members.
@SenatorDurbin Fauci influenced the US Gov't and seems to have conspired with scientists to put forth an early conclusion of the Pandemic Origin while dismissing the other assessments....
@SenRandPaul That said, it doesn't excuse Dr. Fauci from promoting the Proximal Origins to everyone in the US Government and the National Academies... It is really looking like he had an agenda. He never inquired about the FBI assessment. No discussion, just dismissal.
@SenRandPaul Though it pains me, I give A. Fauci the benefit of doubt (at that time). What ODNI presented to the White House was greatly edited with bias. The FBI was not invited to attend the WH briefing and nobody ever bothered to ask how the FBI reached its assessment.
@Bryce_Nickels The Wuhan Municipal Public Security Bureau suppressed information exchanges between physicians early in the Wuhan outbreak, which interfered with the contact tracing necessary for epidemiological investigations. Support to the market epicenter hypothesis is unfounded.
@Bryce_Nickels VR should be ashamed. His TWIV blogs were as unprofessional as the Slack forum I am reading. Discourse and debate among scientists are what drives science, but these guys disgrace the profession.
EHA justified their proposals stating the coronaviruses have pandemic potential and would be manipulated to identify genetic changes that increased adaptation to humans (paraphrased). Did the NIH Study Section Review generate any safety questions or make safety recommendations?
@RandPaul What actions should have been taken by NIH when EHA reported increased morbidity and increased pathology in humanized mice following genetic manipulation of a bat sarbecovirus previously known to infect human cells? What was the NIH policy and was it followed?
@RandPaul When EHA's 4th year progress report was reviewed by NIH (albeit it two years late), what action was taken by NIH since increased morbidity and pathology" were reported in humanized mice following genetic manipulation of pathogens with known pandemic potential?
@TuckerCarlson Its strange Huff was surprised by Daszak's statement, because when I read EVA'S proposals, I don't see conservation efforts, I see the proposing to look at the consequences of encroachment of natural habitats. Huff is being terrorized?
