Carey (19-2, 12-0 N10) wins the N10 baseball championship outright with a 2-0 win against Colonel Crawford. Tyler Rossel's hit in the bottom of the 4th scored the game's only 2 runs. Garrett Hall improved to 10-0 with a 4-hit shutout.

This morning we had water now we have a W on the field. G. Hall pitched another gem for his 8th win with no losses. 6 guys scored and 8 reached base. Great defense. Devils now are alone in first place in the N10. Tomorrow home vs Arlington.

The Bash Brothers 2.0. AJ (2) Garrett (1) and Dash (4) all with dingers today in a 16 to 2 rout of McComb. Time to focus on a tournament game fellas. We have a really nice solid young team with great senior leadership. Get out and watch these guys this week. Fun team!

Our Sutton Bank MVP is Carey designated hitter Louis Watkins who provided a two out 2-run home run in the top of the 7th to help the Blue Devils to a 5-3 win over Colonel Crawford. Watkins ended the day 2-for-4 with a single, home run, walk, 3 rbi, and a run scored.

A heart-felt recognition to great man coach mentor and teacher Mr Ed Hotelling. Everyone respected and cared for Mr. Hotelling. I never had a bad conversation with him. A fixture at athletic competitions. I and everyone will miss him. RIP Coach.

My autograph picture of George Brett and Pete Rose was one of the best Christmas gifts I ever got. I love that style of play. I always said they wouldn't put him on the Hall of Fame until he died. Now is the time! Pete deserves to be in Cooperstown.
