If you just opened a brokerage account, read this before you size up. Not a pick. The stuff I wish someone had handed me on day one. https://t.co/WBVV1dpemp
Tomorrow could get interesting fast.
The 10-year just closed at 5.106%, its highest level since 2007.
And traders are now pricing about a 66% chance of another Fed hike in October.
At the same time, Meta just gave Wall Street a lot to digest at Connect.
Meta Charm.
Camera-free Ray-Ban Meta Audio.
New VR glasses.
Muse getting pushed deeper into the hardware ecosystem.
So these are the 3 names I’m watching first tomorrow:
$META
Fresh catalyst, fresh products, and Muse already has real momentum behind it.
If buyers show up again, I think Meta has a good shot at holding up better than the broader market.
$XOM
This one is simple.
If crude stays firm, energy still gives me somewhere to look while high-growth tech deals with 5% yields.
$GOOGL
This is more of a test for me.
If yields stay above 5%, I’m cautious.
If the 10-year cools off, Google is one of the first big tech names I’d watch for a bounce.
The first thing I’m checking tomorrow morning isn’t a stock.
It’s the 10-year.
Below 5% and I get more interested in tech.
Above 5% and I stay picky.
I’ll post the updated list before the bell.
$META is live at Connect 2026 right now.
And I’m paying attention.
This isn’t just another hardware event.
Meta is talking AI, smart glasses and what comes after the smartphone.
That’s the part investors should be watching.
Muse is already gaining traction.
Now Meta is trying to put AI directly in front of your eyes.
If smart glasses become a real computing platform, Meta suddenly has something much bigger than another social app.
I’m not buying the stock because of one livestream.
But tonight could tell us a lot about where Zuckerberg thinks the next decade of computing is headed.
$META is already on my long-term watchlist.
Now I want to see what they show.
Anyone else watching Meta Connect?
If I had to park money in 5 stocks for the next 12 to 24 months, these are the names I’d feel pretty comfortable owning:
$MSFT
$GOOGL
$AMZN
$META
$NVDA
Not because I think they’ll go straight up.
They won’t.
I just think these businesses give me a better reason to stay patient when the market gets ugly.
They generate real cash.
They’re still growing.
And all 5 have a real seat at the table in AI.
Could some of them drop 20% along the way?
Absolutely.
That wouldn’t automatically change my view.
For a 1 to 2 year hold, I care a lot more about the business than what the stock does next Tuesday.
If you could only hold ONE of these through the next 2 years, which one are you taking?
Red open.
I’m not worried about the indexes yet.
I’m watching where the money is actually going.
3 stocks on my screen today:
$MU
Memory stocks are still leading, and semis have been strong for days.
If the 10-year stays under 5%, I think $MU has a real shot at staying one of the stronger names today.
$META
The Muse story still has momentum behind it.
I don’t need another huge move.
I just want to see if buyers keep defending it while the broader market stays soft.
$XOM
Oil is ticking higher again.
If crude stays firm, I think energy could quietly outperform while tech fights higher yields.
My read right now:
$MU = best continuation setup
$META = best relative-strength setup
$XOM = best hedge if oil stays bid
The one number I’m watching all day:
5% on the 10-year.
Stay below it and I’m interested in tech.
Break above it and I get a lot more defensive.
Let’s see which one finishes strongest.
Nasdaq just closed at another all-time high. But the tape underneath was a lot messier than the headline. Nasdaq +0.45% S&P 500 flat Dow -0.36%
$MU
+5%
$SNDK
nearly +7% Meanwhile, financials got hit hard.
$JPM
and
$WFC
both fell more than 3%. That’s the part I’m paying attention to. The market is rewarding a very specific group of stocks right now, not everything. Tomorrow I’m watching
$MU
and
$SNDK
first. If the 10-year stays below 5% and chips keep getting bought, I think semis can keep leading. If that strength starts fading while more sectors roll over, I’ll get a lot more careful. Nasdaq at a record high. Very different story under the surface.
This is the part most people skip. Shorting the AI complex is the loud trade. The quieter one is QXO + SFM + BIRK + BBW: he’s saying nominal consumer spend can stay intact even if the capex cycle breaks. Those two rarely fail on the same timeline, so it’s an actual view, not just a hedge.
Last week, these names were on my radar:
$INTC from $97.14 to $121.78 (+25.4%)
$AMD from $504.20 to $615.52 (+22.1%)
$MU from $927.60 to $1,043.49 (+12.5%)
$META from $670.24 to $741.25 (+10.6%)
$AVGO from $339.27 to $362.66 (+6.9%)
$NVDA from $212.17 to $226.27 (+6.6%)
$GOOGL from $344.98 to $354.97 (+2.9%)
Not every watchlist looks like this.
I’ll have a fresh one ready before the next bell.
Follow me and turn notifications on if you want to see what I’m watching next.
Tomorrow is where today’s rally gets tested.
AI ripped.
The Nasdaq closed at a record.
The 10-year slipped back under 5%.
I’m not chasing Monday’s candles though.
I want to see who can actually hold up when the easy move is over.
$NVDA is the first one I’m watching.
If semis stay bid and yields behave, I think it has a shot to keep pushing higher.
$MU still looks like one of the cleaner relative-strength names to me.
I don’t need another huge move. I just want to see buyers keep defending it.
$META is different.
After an 11% day, I’d expect some profit-taking early.
If it takes that selling and still holds firm, that’s a very good sign.
So my lean for Tuesday:
$NVDA = higher if semis stay strong
$MU = strength holds
$META = early pullback, then the real test
And I’m still watching one number before anything else:
5% on the 10-year.
Stay below it and I’m interested in tech.
Push back above it and I get a lot more selective.
I’ll post my updated trading list before the bell.
Follow if you want to see what I’m watching next.
That power hour setup worked.
The 3 names I was watching into the close:
$INTC +12.1%
$META +11.4%
$AMD +10.0%
All 3 finished strong.
$INTC held most of a massive breakout.
$META stayed one of the strongest large-cap names on the board.
And $AMD closed the day above a $1 trillion valuation for the first time.
That’s exactly why I care about how stocks trade into the bell.
The last hour tells you whether buyers actually want to hold the move overnight.
Today, they did.
I’ll post a fresh trading watchlist before the next session.
Follow if you want to see what I’m watching next.
Tech is still holding up into the final hour.
That’s what I care about right now.
$INTC had the crazy move today. I’m not chasing it up here, but if it holds most of the breakout into the bell, that’s worth paying attention to.
$META still looks strong. Probably the cleanest large-cap move on my screen.
And $AMD?
After a move like today, I just want to see where buyers are willing to hold it.
Oil is down.
Yields have eased.
Money came back into growth.
Now we find out if traders actually want to carry that risk overnight.
I’m watching $INTC, $META and $AMD into the close.
If they finish strong, I’ll be looking at tech again tomorrow.
If they start getting dumped in the last hour, I’ll be a lot more careful.
Simple as that.
Which one would you rather hold overnight?
Tech is still holding up into the final hour.
That’s what I care about right now.

3 stocks I’m watching into the close today:
$INTC
Up big, but the move still has real momentum behind it.
If buyers keep defending the breakout, I think Intel can stay one of the strongest names on the board into the close.
$META
One of the cleanest large-cap moves today.
Strong relative strength, strong volume, and buyers are clearly willing to pay up.
I think this one can stay firm as long as the Nasdaq holds green.
$MU
Not as explosive as the other two, but I still like the setup.
AI memory demand is still one of the strongest semiconductor stories in the market.
If semis keep leading this afternoon, $MU is one of the names I expect to hold up.
My call for the rest of today:
$INTC = strongest momentum
$META = strongest large-cap setup
$MU = quieter, but still interesting
Let’s see where all 3 finish.
Sunday night and oil is already moving.
Brent is back above $104.
WTI is back above $101.
That comes after another round of missile and drone attacks on Saudi Arabia over the weekend.
At the same time, the Fed is still worried about inflation.
And the 10-year pushed back above 5% on Friday.
That’s not exactly the setup tech bulls wanted for Monday morning.
My read:
If oil keeps climbing and yields stay around 5% or higher, I expect pressure on high-growth tech and semis early.
$NVDA
$AMD
$MU
Those are the first names I’ll be watching.
On the other side, energy stays interesting if crude holds these levels.
$XOM
$CVX
I’m not calling for a selloff.
But Monday’s first move may have a lot more to do with oil and rates than another AI headline.
First thing I’m checking in the morning:
Oil or the 10-year.
Which one matters more to you right now?
Everyone is watching AI.
But I think most investors are missing the next part of the story.
The biggest winners won’t only be the companies building AI models.
They’ll also be the companies providing the infrastructure behind them.
This week, I’m watching:
$NVDA
$MU
$AMD
$GOOGL
My focus:
• AI infrastructure
• Semiconductor demand
• Cloud growth
I’m not chasing every stock with an AI label.
I’m looking for companies with real demand, strong momentum, and a reason to keep winning.
I’ll share my updated watchlist before Monday’s open.
What AI stock are you watching this week?
Everyone is chasing AI.
I’m watching what comes next.
These 3 names are on my radar:
$NVDA
$MU
$AMD
But the stock I’m most interested in isn’t the obvious one.
I’ll share it tomorrow.
Follow if you want the watchlist.
Next week could show us who’s real and who was just hype.
Last week was a good reminder:
AI is not one trade anymore.
Money is getting selective.
The names I’m watching:
$NVDA
Still the AI leader. The question is whether buyers keep defending strength.
$MU
AI memory demand remains one of the strongest stories in semiconductors.
$AMD
A name I’m watching closely after its recent recovery.
But here’s the thing:
I’m not looking for the stocks that already ran.
I’m looking for the ones that can hold up when the market gets tested.
Next week I’m watching:
AI infrastructure
Semiconductors
Interest rates
The best opportunities usually show up when the market gets selective.
What’s the #1 stock on your watchlist next week?
New week. New setups.
Last week reminded me of something:
The market isn’t rewarding everything.
It’s rewarding strength.
$MU was one of the biggest standouts.
$AMD showed strong recovery into the close.
$GOOGL stayed resilient while rates remained a major pressure point.
Now the question is:
Can these leaders keep leading?
Here’s what I’m watching next week:
• 10-year yield
• AI & semiconductor momentum
• Stocks holding key levels
I’m not chasing every green candle.
I’m looking for companies with strong stories, strong momentum, and a setup that makes sense.
I’ll be sharing my next watchlist soon.
What’s on your watchlist for next week?
Quick question for anyone who sees this:
What would you like to see more of from @JasonColelfod?
I want to know what kind of content people actually want to read.

3 for 3.
These were the 3 stocks I posted publicly earlier today:
$MU +3.9%
$AMD +2.6%
$GOOGL +0.5%
All 3 finished green.
$MU was the standout.
$AMD gave me the confirmation I was waiting for and ripped into the close.
$GOOGL stayed green even with the 10-year back above 5%.
And the hidden 4th pick?
Green too.
All 4 finished green today.
The 3 names I posted publicly went 3 for 3, and the hidden pick finished green as well.
Follow me if you want my next trading list.
I’ll keep sharing the names I’m watching, the setups I like, and what I’m looking for next.
4 stocks on my radar right now.
The 10-year is back around 5%, the market’s getting picky, and I care a lot more about relative strength than the indexes here.
$GOOGL
Still holding up better than the broader market.
Google avoided a forced breakup of its ad-tech business, and the stock’s still showing strength.
$AMD
One of the better-looking AI names on my screen today.
If semis catch another bid, this is one of the first names I’m watching.
$MU
AI memory demand is still strong, and supply is still tight.
There are risks here, but I still like the setup.
???
Keeping this one off the timeline for now.
Follow me and DM me “X” and I’ll send you the 4th name and why it’s on my list.
I’m not chasing anything.
I want to see the setups hold first.
