If your candidate lost do not despair, but look to Jesus who never fails you.
If your candidate won do not be deceived, but trust in Jesus who is the only certain help.
All kingdoms will fade.
Jesus reigns forever and ever.
Amen.
@DagsBasketball I look forward to seeing some more from you on working on defensive skills. Scheme is important for a team, but defensive habits are vital for player development, but I'm struggling to find good stuff!
@pastorjgkell Can you add a category for voting reluctantly due to disappointment with existing candidates? Or "only voting for a party to vote against the other candidate?"
I guess those are more attitude questions stewarding your vote questions. But I'm more interested in motive/attitude
"My kingdom is not of this world." - Jesus
It is blasphemous to tie the name of Jesus to a political party that platforms or promotes evil.
Do not take the Lord's name in vain for political gain.
PLAYERS: Paying attention to somebody is a sign of respect. You might disagree w/the person, be bored, frustrated, or dislike what's being said, but you can still show respect & demonstrate what kind of CHARACTER YOU HAVE. It says more about YOU than it does the person talking.
Athletes who want to play and only have fun are "PARTICIPANTS"
Athletes who work hard in practice & games are "COMPETITORS"
Athletes who do what's right regardless of the situation are "CHAMPIONS"
When coachable players are held accountable, they understand it's for the good of the team and seek to learn from the situation.
Uncoachable players think they're being picked on and play the blame game when held accountable.

Pat Summitt said, “Winning is fun... Sure. But winning is not the point. Wanting to win is the point. Not giving up is the point. Never letting up is the point. Never being satisfied with what you've done is the point."
Your character is what you do.
Good character isn't about perfection, it's choosing to live your life with integrity, responsibility, and self-discipline.
You aren't defined by your victories or defeats, but by your attitude and character in the face of adversity.
You demonstrate it through your actions, decisions, and how you treat people.
