We are saddened and heartbroken to share the news of the passing of Kyle Busch, a two-time Cup champion and one of our sport's greatest and fiercest drivers. He was 41 years old.

Why is the Mercedes front wing variable?
I noticed this all last weekend.
The Merc front wing was closing at different speeds depending on the corner, and that at it's slowest, it was closing in about 800ms, twice what the rules allow.
This gif is slowed 4x and lines-up two corners on Russell's car where the wing closes much faster and much slower.
Anyone have any theories as to what might be going on?
❤️ Lewis Hamilton: “Firstly I have to say a big congratulations to this big lad here, to Kimi."
"He took my seat and he hit it hard from the get-go - so it’s just really great to see him progressing and he really deserves it."
The @fia confirms it will work closely with Max Verstappen to ensure the 2026 cars are more enjoyable to drive in future races.
This will be measured in accordance with Verstappen’s own criteria for enjoyment of F1: winning most of the races in a dominant car.
@autosport I don't buy the road relevance argument. These are racing profit centres. Manufacturers will come and go and F1 should have gone with sustainable fuels. The product being sold to fans is too complex and confusing. It can be tweaked but it's the wrong direction.
@SteveCampF1 I think the sport has been standing at a crossroads for some time now. The current rules seem to be F1’s way of bridging both worlds, a compromise that lets it stay relevant, but for how long because road cars seem to be heading fully electrified.
I say bring back V10's to reignite the visceral excitement that once defined the sport. Electric tech has it's place - in Formula E. Formula 1 has the choice to embrace high-revving, fuel guzzling V10's on sustainable biofuels while letting Formula E own the green future.
As I say in my https://t.co/dJ2roqREED column. "Sky’s Simon Lazenby raved about how there were three times the overtakes from last year and that this was the Formula for you if you wanted more overtaking. Well Formula E has a lot more overtaking, but it doesn’t mean I want that!"
@JackieF1nut I'm picturing the amount of crop circles!.. I'm sure F1 is leaning more towards synthetic e-fuels, the real scaling challenge might end up being renewable electricity rather than farmland, and we know what direction energy prices are heading in.
@JackieF1nut I think the overall idea with sustainability is a "drop-in" fuel that could theoretically work in normal road cars without engine changes. If these become scalable they could help to decarbonise ICE's worldwide, which is a good thing.
@JackieF1nut I think the '26 ICE is slightly more efficient than last year, even though it produces less HP overall. They've got to be getting pretty close to the limit on thermal efficiency, it will be interesting to see how far they can push this.
