Part 1 of 2. Congrats to @KlingGrant! In a couple weeks he’ll be wrapping up and earning his Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Business Management! He also did this while not acquiring any debt! Way to go Grant.

A great week on the Fishlake NF with more spring cleaning! Our federal, state, county, and city folks teamed up and prescribe burned about 6,500 acres near Moroni Peak east of Salina, UT. The timing of this burn was great. Next week rain, snow, and colder temps are forecasted.

On this final day of PSAC Swim Championships, @avahkling1 swam good in the 100 Free and 200 Backstroke Events. In the 100 Free she improved by 0.64 seconds and in the 200 Backstroke she improved by 2.67 seconds! Aa Freshman, she swam great! Staci and I are so proud of her!

@avahkling1 did good today in her 100 yard backstroke event. With a time of 1:02.41 she set a new personal best time in this event. She’ll be swimming again tomorrow in her best events; the 100 Free and 200 Back. Go Avah!

Congrats Anali. She did well in the IM and Backstroke at the State 3A Swim Championship this past weekend. She cut 4.63 seconds in the IM and 0.94 seconds in the Backstroke. She earned a little State hardware! She had a great season and improved a lot this year. Good job Anali!

@KlingGrant has been called to serve in the Spain Madrid North Mission! He starts his missionary training May 20, 2026.

I served in the Spain Malaga Mission; now known as the Spain Madrid South Mission.

We have news to share! @KlingGrant has decided to serve a 2-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He’ll be opening his call Friday at 7:00pm MST. You’re invited to attend. We plan to broadcast his opening on Facebook and Instagram live. Congrats Grant!

Check out yesterday’s early morning view at the Delicate Arch in Arches National Park! It was a nice chile morning hike. It’s always nice to spend some time in the backcountry. Thanks for being my hiking partner @KlingGrant.

Swimming first in the 400 Freestyle Relay event, Avah swam a season best 55.91. This time automatically qualifies her for the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) swim championships in February. Check out Lane 8 at the bottom of the video. Good swimming @avahkling1.
