This is my Thunder flag that SGA carried in the Champions Parade. He grabbed it from me then found me in the crowd and brought it back. It’s now framed in my house.
@maulabubu Luke is a great character, don’t get me wrong, but based simply on his onscreen portrayal in Star Wars, there is much to be desired. There’s so much that could be done with Luke post Original Trilogy that they’ve been really hesitant to dive into.
@WiggerMaggot I just always assumed it was because Anakin just killed all the kids at the Jedi Temple and Obi Wan needed to make a statement of disappointment.
What’s so funny about this clip is they seem so sure OKC wouldn’t do right by Ajay, when Presti has already done this twice: 1. converted his two-way contract early, then 2. declined the 2nd year on that contract so Ajay could lock in more guaranteed money.
Without Dub, Dort is nice to have on LeBron who can bully Chet/Cason/Ajay. But SGA has to share the floor with Dort to keep offense afloat. But Mark will have to limit Dort’s minutes against better defensive teams (SAS, DET, NYK) or we will wither
SMALL SAMPLE SIZE
OKC’s -10.1 per100 with a 105.63 ORtg in 20 minutes with both Shai and Lu on against the Lakers (no Low Lev)
and +47.8, 137.5 ORtg with Shai on and Lu off.
The truth is the NBA is just like corporate America where “shareholder value” is king. Decisions will always boil down to whether it increases return for 30 owners. Most times that aligns with what’s also good for fans, but not always.
Every sports league:
“How do we grow our audience like the Savannah Bananas”
Bananas:
“Well the first thing we do is put the fan and their experience above anything”
Sports league:
“……………”
Bananas:
“………….”
League:
“So what do we do besides that”
That clip is actually a play the refs have been incredibly consistent with the whole season. If the player wasn’t in shooting motion before the foul, the call has been a non-shooting one even if the player has already gathered.
"Last night was maybe one of the worst officiating games I've seen in a long time."
@RealJayWilliams reacts to the Lakers criticizing officiating after their Game 2 loss vs. the Thunder 👀
This is a perfect example of why this OKC hate keeps intensifying. Look at the engagement on this. FL knows how to get eyeballs on its brand. Every anti-OKC post goes nuclear on here. The NBA is loving this.
Just wait until Barry finds out that this is by design. The reason Mark can have Dort on the floor for 25 mins guarding LeBron, is SGA can raise even the most lowest offensive floor.
The second apron is very misunderstood. It’s not a hard cap. Teams can operate above it. There is no requirement to trade players to get below it. Whether OKC will operate above it is a fair question, but they can certainly keep this team together.
