@drantbradley Dobson's, "Bringing up Boys", (2001) references research (most A's go to girls, most F's go to boys). In a trad school, boys are forced to learn self control, which is a key skill they need throughout life anyway, and have thrived. He did advocate homeschooling for boys though.
@Catholicizm1 A man can cry whenever he wants without regard to what others think, except Christ, of course, because he owns all the results of his actions, whether good or bad.
@LizzieMarbach Dang. I have no insight into Trump’s salvation, but maybe he doesn’t understand salv. by grace? Also, his comment is heretical, but he’s talking about his own salv. and not trying to convince anyone else of his view (I think). Hopefully someone will help him understand.
@Valhrolf @turnedwife The context of this verse is in the authority structure of a local church. It’s not meant to apply to all Christians in all situations outside the local church. Please be careful when you offer an interpretation of scripture.
@NancyRPearcey Don’t really care what the Economist says, but I believe your work has strengthened the Body of Christ. You bring a much needed intellectual and Bible based reasoning that helps the church defend against a culture that neither understands or fears God. Thank you for your work!
@atensnut Manfred Mann's Earth Band, a British band, didn’t understand the reference to “deuce” so changed the word when they covered Springsteen’s song. The cover went to #1 in the US, probably why the lyrics of the cover are more well known.
@Acts17David@LJersey@MikeWingerii Hoping this is in jest. I find Mike’s teaching invaluable and so appreciate his efforts at trying to teach people how to read the Bible on their own. I also appreciate Dr. Wood’s boldness in addressing Islam.
