When Forbes had their 30 under 30 function in Limerick, that so many of our leaders attended and lauded up, I wonder did any of them explain to Forbes that just a few hundred yards away, lay the two most extremely disadvantaged areas in the Republic of Ireland?
What a fantastic few days in Delmege park. Children and families from near and a far flooded into Moyross for an amazing experience. Completely free and open to all. What an amazing community.
Moyross, it really is the land of opportunity. With investors like this on board the future really is bright.
Through good and bad, we are destined to come out in top.
👏👏 Times are certainly changing. 👏👏 https://t.co/XUQtq2B7mc
@buildourroad It seems that @oliviaos doesn't respond when it doesn't fit her narrative. Do I need to change my address to get a response? Or is complete silence the response when the narrative doesn't align? As a 'public' representative, it's shameful. #CommunicationMatters
🎶🎼Thanks to everyone at @NorthstarFamil1 for inviting us back to perform “Don’t give up on me” at your annual Service of Commemoration and Hope! We were delighted to be part of your special event!🎶🎼
The community won’t lay idle and be abandoned by those elected to support us. Limerick is a beautiful city but it’ll never be a great city until all our communities excel and prosper. Our children deserve the same opportunities as everyone else and not to 2b cut off and closed in
Out in Moyross this evening for a very productive meeting with Moyross community groups on the “University Avenue” proposal. It is desperate to hear that in 2023 there is still so much segregation and walls around this lovely community 😞 It was a very positive meeting 💚
@elisaodonovan@SocDemsLK I am delighted to see that you attended this meeting and understood what the real narrative is here: driven by exclusion & discrimination & led by a certain cohort of elected reps, some of whom carried out extensive ‘consultation’ on this but never came near the people of Moyross
🎶 “Dreams” unplugged. Thanks so much to everyone in the Church of the Assumption in the parish of Dalkey for inviting our choir to perform for you all today in such a beautiful setting! Your generosity is always appreciated. Special thank you to @PatKeogh9 and all for organising!
🎼🎶Still get goosebumps listening to our amazing past pupil Amy. Here she is performing the poignant “Never Alone” which she sang so beautifully in the same church 5 years ago! 🎶
It’s great to see the lack of engagement named. 2000 residents just forgotten about and not engaged with. 20 years ago this road would of just drifted away and nothing would of happened. But Moyross is different now. It’s a shame elected representatives don’t see that.
This is behind a paywall but I’m sure the next paragraph says “ alternatively the 2000 residents in Moyross are extremely supportive of the proposed road and believe it is critical infrastructure to connect the community to their neighbours across the 12 foot walls ”.
Moyross … Community of champions. Congratulations to the Moyross Ladies team on doing the double and Tyrone for winning the 5 nations title. You continue to set amazing standards across your disciplines.
