One of my goals this season was to get faster both on the field and in my mind. Over the summer I started to jump rope everyday and do @Lumosity brain games everyday. I have officially done 100 jump ropes everyday for 2 months. As well as brain games everyday for one month.
Today was a great day to be outside and get some tee work in, after my strength and speed workout.
I was really focused on getting my back elbow slotted, and working through the ball for good, solid line drives!
Got to take some extra reps with @sokosoftball yesterday! I had so much fun. During the lesson we worked on hitting different pitches, and really staying through the ball. Linked below is the swing I am most proud of from the session. I love working hard in the offseason!
The season is officially over, and to close out the season I would like to share some stats.
⭐️ 500 BA
⭐️33 RBIs
⭐️1.159 OPS
⭐️.980 FPCT
Outside of the regular season I…
- PR’d in the 20 yd dash of 3.2
- PR’d my pop time to 2.0
- Tournament MVP
- ESA unlimited game MVP
Had a great time at the New Berlin Summer heat! I currently have a .433 BA with a .500 on base percentage and a .933 OPS. I also got lots of time at right field, which is a good change from my normal positions. So grateful full that my batting coach @sokosoftball was able to come
🚨NEW PR ALERT🚨 I have been working really hard to hit 70, and I finally did it! Hard work truly pays off! 71 EV is a great start to my first high school season. #softball#grind#collegesoftball
@datboywolf I think Ratt will be just fine in the league, but the similar thought process that was used during DAs time as HC should be applied here. Many said DA wasn’t a winner as a HC, which is true. Unfortunately, Ratt hasn’t been a winner as a starter. Patience is key.
