@WillTheLandMan I agree with you there—in a vacuum, undesirable figures gain a foothold and following. It would be cool to see the most visible champions of our great rep cinema scene step up and be advocates on this issue, because right now, this dude is the only one making any noise.
@WillTheLandMan I have no clue who the Save the Arclight dude is and don’t particularly care. It would just be cool to see BF launch their own effort, if they find the sole representative this worthy cause to be objectionable. Would definitely mean a lot to those us who love both BF and The Dome
@WillTheLandMan … official account, as were others I know who love and support BF. It would be nice to hear about their efforts to, perhaps, lobby local lawmakers. Instead, the only visibility we’ve seen is to tweet negativity about the only movement that the public has seen on the issue.
@davidehrlich@daveweigel Across the board, the theatrical movie-going experience has become more about the act of eating than, you know, watching a fucking movie.
These losers at @Decurion care more about about a tax break than opening the Dome back up to the community.
They’re happy to leave it destitute for 6 years, yet have no problem threatening legal action within HOURS of somebody projecting onto the building and protesting.
