No point celebrating this. The MacAllister that'll come back to Liverpool will be the retirement-home version after he puts his body through hell for Argentina 🥲
Zendaya and Tom Holland got married and no one knew about it and we still haven't seen pictures. THAT is romantic. Having a massive spectacle in the middle of midtown on a holiday weekend is tacky as hell.
Mexico are really fun to watch lmfao. These guys don’t give a shit about all of that European passing sideways nonsense they just want to blitze teams with forward passes and high intensity sprints.
Football played like this is so clear.
I get the hydration breaks are shit and some of the times of games aren't great but generally the footy has been sound imo. Every WC has some poor games but I'm not having this shout of it's been shite. Would assume people haven't watched that much if you're in that camp
Can't help but feel Liverpool have been used as a bargaining tool to get the move he really wanted (PSG) . LFC cannot afford another sub-par season with a boring brand of football. We need to be an attractive proposition again 🤞🏼🙏🏻
🚨 EXCL: Yan Diomande chooses Paris Saint-Germain as next destination if he departs RB Leipzig this summer. 19yo said to believe in #PSG project led by Al-Khelaifi / Campos / Enrique + wants chance to lift trophies regularly & win Balon D’Or @TheAthleticFC https://t.co/HYUUXtCSS8
This mission:
- Establishes the story's whole theme of "Balance" (foreshadowing The Black Suit & Peter's continued guilt over Aunt May's death)
- Highlights Peter's financial struggles & relationship issues with MJ (prioritizing himself over Miles & foreshadowing Scream)
- Showcases Harry's longtime friendship with Peter (foreshadowing Venom)
It's not an epic action set-piece, but it's not supposed to be. Peter Parker is HALF of what makes Spider-Man - "Spider-Man." Granted, while I certainly don't want to be doing Peter's taxes as a gameplay sequence, not every mission can be the Sandman fight or the Venom mission. But, it's missions like these that make me thoroughly connect with the character on a personal level, as well as appreciate the bigger and more bombastic moments even more. At this point, I'm just convinced that Twitter plays these games with their eyes closed, or even worse, doesn't even understand what makes Spider-Man so special as a superhero in the first place.
Drake is a genuinely gifted, one-of-a-kind hitmaker who has released some of the biggest and most impactful songs and albums of my lifetime. But his massive commercial success has created a false equation: a lot of people assume that because he’s the biggest, he must also be the best.
In truth, there are hundreds of MCs who are simply better, with stronger albums, sharper pens, more versatile flows, superior freestyles, and more compelling features. They just refuse to water down their art into the lowest-common-denominator pop-rap that dominates the charts. Authenticity and depth rarely get the same shine as mass appeal, and that’s why the gap between “most popular” and “most elite” has never been wider.
There is absolutely nothing that gives you more information about someone’s entire catalog of opinions on football than if they tell you that they believe Ronaldo is a better footballer than Messi.
If they even consider it debatable, that gives you enough to just stop listening.
The World Cup has been a much more enjoyable viewing experience despite the "hydration breaks". Which further illustrates how awful the PL has become as a product.
If you watch premier league it’s dominated by time wasting, players fighting with each other during corner kicks, throw in becoming a major event? goalkeepers not being allowed to move during corners, etc.
Watch the World Cup and magically you don’t see those things as much.
PL referees need to take note and fix the league.
My favourite part of the World Cup is the absolute false image it can sell of players.
Going to see ‘Liverpool HAVE TO SIGN HIM’ about every 8/10 performing midfielder.
That 90+6’ winner vs Everton
That 86’ winner vs Newcastle
That 7’ & 79’ historic comeback vs Barca
That 87’ goal in the Final
That 62’ & 90+4’ comeback vs Arsenal
That 6’ & 31’ brace vs Everton
That 90+4’ winner vs Wolves
That 85’ goal vs Everton
Memories that will last forever.
Gave me the best moments as a fan I've ever experienced. An insanely clutch player who epitomised the magical experience in the Klopp years. Thank you for everything ❤️
