Jack (9) was using the Notes app on my iPad, so I took a cue from The Office playbook: I hijacked his note and convinced him he was having a conversation with his future self. Big sci-fi nerd that he is, he bought it completely and it was awesome. 1/2

A year ago today Edward Nelson suffered a fatal fall in the Alps. He would depart this life the following day. His legacy is a family full of faith and a gospel vision for French-speaking Europe. I miss him terribly.
