Day two forecast out and is based mostly on trends in trough shape and surface pattern. I have pulled out the significant tornado risk for much of central OK with hodographs growing into the night and sustained WAA to keep the LL inversion at bay.

You'll notice I have kept the severe risk well west of where the HRRR places the dryline at 20z due to it's strong over mixing bias likely leading to an overly diffuse and forward tilted dryline.

This is the westernmost violent tornado ever documented in history, shot on July 1, 2023, Didsbury, AB. Severe weather returns to Alberta and the Canadian Prairie the next few days.

This was the moment that the Mount Vernon, Indiana #tornado obtained its EF-3 rating on the eastern edge of town. Note the large pieces of structural debris being lofted and orbiting around the center circulation.
