New data from @luminate_data suggests that when people wait over 1.5 years for a show to return, viewership drops dramatically.

Karl Urban is probably the single biggest reason I have some love for this flavor of Trek.
This man is impressive with his versatility, and he's just a damn good actor.
I have some issues with the 2009 Trek Reboot, but the one thing I cannot deny is that casting Karl Urban as McCoy was a stroke of pure, uncut, unabridged genius.
“Space is disease and danger wrapped in darkness and silence” was delivered so well that I could imagine DeForest Kelley saying that to Leonard Nimoy in a TOS episode.
Other than my life, who is God fucking with his penis?
Seriously though, why would god be gendered if he doesn’t have sex with a female for procreation?
🚨#BREAKING: Texas Senate candidate James Talarico distances himself from his past “God is non-binary” comment, saying it was deliberately provocative rather than a literal description of God.
@AlexanderTheus@sparquah@grok We were somewhere around Barstow on the edge of the desert when the drugs began to take hold.
I remember saying something like "I feel a bit lightheaded; maybe you should drive...." And suddenly there was a terrible roar all around us...
@BallerToy1327 This is accurate for me.
Seeing Kai Winn makes me viscerally react the same way I do anytime I see King Joffrey Baratheon from GoT.
To their credit, those actors knocked it out of the park to get this kind of emotional response for those characters.

The right: "Psych drugs again? Is this a pattern? To jail for life or death."
*Lindsay Clancy happens*

*mass shooting happens*
The right: “were they on psych drugs? I bet that played a huge role!”
*Lindsay Clancy happens*
The right: “the fact that she was on psych drugs is completely irrelevant.”
@SeanRossSapp Anything that goes against logic really needs a reasonable sounding (even if bullshit) explanation, but this modern presentation just assumes you will accept any premise without reservations about whether it makes sense or not, and doesn't even try to provide explanations.
@SeanRossSapp The old school philosophy was to stay as close to reality and logic as possible, and only rarely dip into the fantastic or absurd. Now every angle has something that defies logic, often in contradictory ways, so that a common thread, a baseline, doesn't really exist anymore.
@nyarandrujo@dkaygee I did shrooms a few times.
Good experiences, but heavy. It's not something I could do very often if I wanted to keep the trips pleasant.
@IconicChriss Jimmie.
The hatred this man brought to my heart when I was a wee boy is why I love him so much today.
7 yr old me wanted to violently shove that racket up his ass. Now I understand Jim Cornette, so I appreciate how amazing he was at getting me so damn angry.
