They told you single player games don’t sell
They told you physical discs make no sense
They told you streaming will be mainstream
They told you MTX are necessary for profits
They told you to cap cloud streaming hours
They told you to get comfortable not owning your games and to embrace a digital future🚀

And they pushed and normalized it very step while you watch and do nothing.

How much more needs to happen before you realize they don’t have your best interest anywhere near their priorities?

What more predatory practices and how much more do they need to take advantage of your goodwill, brand loyalty and inability to see the signs, does it take for players to start demanding change?

Your voice and your wallet are literally your main and most effective ability to vote and demand change, so use them.

Stop letting others tell you that you’re “one of the cool kids of the industry” for accepting whatever they do.

They pay millions of dollars for PR to write whatever BS that sounds sensational so you can imagine they are your friends and on your side.

They aren’t.

So speak out and demand your convenience to be catered to. Because that’s the norm in every other industry. Supply and demand. Not worship and idolization for nothing.

RUMOR: Sony is said to have sent out a survey to developers asking them about how they feel regarding ending physical media, suggesting they are considering backtracking on the decision🚀

“There is a survey Sony sent out to developers that is, what I was told by my contacts, a bigger survey than they’ve sent almost ever before.

There was a question in it trying to ask in a not-direct way: Is there an issue with not selling games physically, asking developers for feedback on killing discs.

Wolverine is still selling plenty of physical copies and Sony is starting to ask devs if they are worried about killing physical, suggesting that if they got a bunch of feedback, maybe they would consider some sort of mea culpa.”
