@elonmusk Basically, I think picking apart a person for a belief they might, or may not hold is an assumption. Common sense can seem like ignorance until experience takes place. New solutions derive from those experiences depending on how the experience affects the individual.

The issue seems to be ever-debatable because perceptual experience is unique to an individual, while scholarly research may study those unique perceptual experiences conclusively.
