Of all the lazy tactics in the sports talk space, the off-season "let's kill the next five minutes going over the winnable games on an NFL team's schedule" might be the laziest.
Proof that you are really talking out of your ass: "The schedule gets brutal after Thanksgiving!"
Therein lies the tricky part of being a major sports rights holder while still claiming to be a news organization. ESPN spends a lot of money to broadcast the NBA. In a seller's market, is it smart for @ShamsCharania to compromise ESPN's business relaltionship with the NBA?
Exact correct sentiment here by @jemelehill. Fact: @ShamsCharania does not work for Amazon or the NBA. He did nothing wrong. His job is to scoop anyone he can on NBA News and thatโs exactly what he did. What if he hadnโt done it and someone else did before the broadcast. Would anyone be in front of his honchos imploring them to give @ShamsCharania a pass because he got scooped? Leave that man alone. Shams did his job.
Wonder what the late David Stern would say if he was told one day there would be a #Game7 featuring a road team wearing whites and the home team wearing their traditional road darks.
Oh, and the superstar would be wearing hot pink sneakers while a Hall of Famer wears light blue.
Itโs in the small things that the rot starts, do the wrong thing once and it is easy to do it again. Do the individualist thing once and it is easy to do it again. It's the ego, the willfulness, the individualism, the rot, has all set in.
"Can we just admit Azzi Fudd went number one because she's in a relationship with Paige Bueckers?"
@danbeyeronfox to @MonseBolanos on Fudd's WNBA debut with the Dallas Wings
"What Draymond Green said about Charles Barkley was classless and factually incorrect..." -@danbeyeronfox
"Draymond talks a lot like he's THE GUY when he was on a team that had 'THE GUYS.' He was very lucky to be in a situation surrounded by Hall of Famers."
-@MonseBolanos
I played a polygraph tester in "The Capture of the Green River Killer", circa 2008. Mulitple scenes testing three different suspects, this one played by James Russo.
A @StanleyMBrooks production.
