Now his replacement as coach iraola I'm not too sure about, just hope he can bring the sustained success and quality football back at anfield but he needs signings to make that happen as we have bled out talent far too much in recent seasons.

Footy season returns tonight and I can't see anyone beating Brisbane I think they will 3 peat, I think there are a few teams who will join them in the GF, the suns, cats and hawks and possibly the magpies if they keep their older players fit at the end of the season.

Absolutely pathetic. If it wasn't obvious by now liverpool aren't winning the league or anything this season for that matter. The embarrassing performances/results and there is simply no end in sight to it. I think most of the blame should go to slot but everyone has been awful.

@HeathBrennan7 Football has changed a lot since the grant days but he was someone who was a quality player at both ends I thought. We have neglected the backline for way too long I don't remember the last time we drafted or traded in a solid defender even though we've needed one for years.

AFL draft tonight, I really hope my dogs get dovaston, we desperately need a small forward but I don't think we'll get him as a) we always draft midfielders and b) he'll probably be drafted before our first pick, hopefully he slides down to us and we get him.

And with our 2nd round pick we get a ruckman. Unbelievable. we needed a small forward and key defender and we get a ruckman when we don't need another ruckman. Our club is just too stupid and backwards thinking. it's going to be long season next year and so on after that.

So north Melbourne up getting dovaston and we get a half back in Carmichael, I just knew we would miss out on a gun player we needed most. I'm not happy but not surprised really hope this Carmichael kid can come on and be gun player for us.

@HeathBrennan7 Bevo has been asked many times whether Naughton should go back & he has always shut it down, it's just something that won't happen, he's a great contested mark but I do prefer him as a forward as I'd like us to draft or trade for a quality key defender, grant is a good comparison

@HeathBrennan7 I don't see bevo playing naughton down back I think he'll keep him in the forward line long term and he has improved as a forward, croft might get some games next year as a forward but might play In other positions too as the club think he's versatile enough to play it.

@HeathBrennan7 I love weightman but he has missed a lot of footy and has a chronic knee issue which will probably get worse over time as he ages, we need another small forward to help out west and weightman and balance the forward line better with Darcy and naughton as talls.

It's bad enough my bulldogs didn't just miss out on a GF they missed finals entirely, but the chance to see snoop dogg perform live at GF would have been amazing, very pissed off my dogs couldn't get there to watch snoop dogg live.

Grand final today, I think it's a 50/50 game I could see both sides winning it, should be a very close game, I tip Brisbane to go back to back and win by 12 points and I think Will Ashcroft will win norm Smith, Josh Dunkley would be another player that could win it too.

Matt Rowell ends up winning it, consider me massively shocked. I thought the winner would be out of daicos, smith or dawson. And the medal winning numbers are unbelievable almost 40 votes and cripps last year had 40+ if I remember correctly

Brownlow medal tonight, I think there is only 3 possible winners Nick Daicos, Bailey Smith or Jordan Dawson I'll be massively shocked if anyone other than those 3 win it.
