We lost one of the greats of stage and screen today. And, in my book, a tremendous friend and man. I learned so much from him. I will miss you, Patrick Stewart, all of my days. @mang0ld
[Violence against women is the] "single greatest human rights violation of our generation."
"I do what I do in my mother's name, because I couldn't help her then. Now I can."
-Sir Patrick Stewart
What a heartbreaking week it has been. Sir Patrick Stewart was a friend, a colleague, and a magnificent actor. From the stage to the bridge of the Enterprise, he brought intelligence, grace, and a deep sense of humanity to everything he did. Captain Picard stood for the best of us, and so did the man who played him. I was filled with affection and admiration for him and his work.
My heart goes out to Sunny and his family. He will be deeply missed.
Not only was he a great actor he was a progressive activist who supported LGBTQ rights, universal healthcare, destigmatizing mental health issues, and was fiercely opposed to nationalism. He truly lived the ideals of Star Trek.
@ToiletChaos@ChillSpartan Because he's constantly doing horrible shit that makes the lives of everyone all over the world worse. Also, fucking hilarious to say that when you maga dipshits constantly think about trans people doing stuff that they're not actually doing.
Patrick Stewart on Trump (2017): “You might say to me, well, you’re not an American, what has it got to do with you? The fact is when America sneezes, the world catches a cold. America I think is on the edge of a very bad flu infection and it’s because of the man who’s in the White House”
@ChillSpartan The fact this motherfucker has outlived Catherine O'Hara, Hayden Panettiere, Dolly Parton, Tim Curry, Peter Cullen, and now Patrick Stewart is proof that there is no god.
Call ICE 866-347-2423 and report Flavio Bolsanaro and his family just landed in Miami. They are criminals from Brazil. They should be deported immediately!!
@Ingvaar__@8biteric Ok, let's talk about Superman real quick. Superman has always been woke in the comics. Christopher Reeve used the platform Superman gave him to promote stuff like Make-A-Wish, the special olympics, and other progressive acts. He was a critic of Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump too.
@LandisLynn1 Literally not happening. You know what is happening? All the paedophiles in the epstein files are shielded and protected by your president, who himself is in the files, and raped kids.
