At the @UBFootball Pro Day, All-American linebacker Red Murdock (@redmurdock2) ran an unofficial 4.67 in the 40-yard dash. The nation’s runner-up in tackles in 2024 (156) finished with the third most in 2025 (142). He racked up 22 bench reps which would be the third highest at the NFL Combine by a linebacker. During his time at Buffalo, he set the NCAA career record for forced fumbles with 17, breaking former UB great Khalil Mack’s (2010-13) record. Red’s given name is Khalil. @SalSports @WGR550

Buffalo Head Coach Pete Lembo just signed the BEST RECRUITING CLASS EVER in UB HISTORY in 2026 by AVG Recruit Ranking. The class ranks slightly better than the 2025 class and 2.57 points higher than the 2024 class. 4 star EDGE Malachi Ervin was a phenomenal evaluation and a player who could change a program. I really like 3 star RB Chase Enlow and believe he could make an early impact. 3 star LB Na'Rod Jarvis is an Oscar Smith HS Product in Chesapeake VA so I know he's been properly coached and developed. 3 star QB Qur'an McNeill could develop into a solid #MAC starter down the road. UB went 5-7 in 2025 after a 9-4 season in 2024 but this Recruiting Class definitely gives hope for the future.
