My 10yr is such amazing peach. I laid with her last night till we both fell asleep.....she said to me beforehand, "dad if you and mum get counselling, don't go to a fortune teller. They are all frauds."
Solid advice taken onboard.
@GaiLambie Thanks Jennifer. Beautiful words. We talked about booking counselling. I told her I was intending on seeking personal counselling and suggested she might want to also consider it. It can only help.
It's a break up. It's moving ahead. We are seeking some counselling however my partner has her mind set on moving out. It's probably for the best, we both need some space to think about all of the consequences, our feelings, life.
like the most sensible way to move forward. It's honestly tearing me to pieces inside. I keep thinking of the positives. I look back on the only other 2 important relationships in my life and the ending of those provided me with motivation to make the most amazing decisions.
..hating or outwardly negative stuff. There is if course the little things, they've built up. The girls are so young and naive it's totally lost on them. We assured them neither of us are moving out yet. Not overly comforting. I don't want the breakup but in my heart it seems....
I thought this moment wouldn't happen.
My 16 yr relationship is ending. Amicably. Devastating none the less. I dearly love her but have become emotionally detached and the last 12 months has been plagued with uncaring moments and selfishness. It's complicated. I'm broken.
Struggling emotionally, I've cried my heart out 2 or 3 times. I'm not ready to talk with the girls. I called a helpline this morning and I was inconsolable. The lady on the other end was amazing. She gave some great advice. She listened, that's all I wanted. I'm welling up now.
I need to understand how to be me, the person she met 16yrs ago. I need to stop being defined by my business. I need to do this for myself and most importantly my two beautiful daughters.
