Have been away from image-gen for the last 6 months, and great to see how much Midjourney has improved, especially v8.2. Loving the incredible details and realistic visuals. The only critique is the grainy/dimpled textures coming through in all the images I've tested so far.

@michaelrabone These look great @michaelrabone! How is V8 going? I've been away from image generation for a while and will get into MJ next week and take a look.
@tisch_eins@deebeeeff Yeah, they all look like stock photos, just some more obvious than others. The prompt does lend it towards stock, though. It would be interesting to see how they all deal with using reference imagery that isn't stock-based and how they turn out.
The Great Plains
This was one of those styles that I got caught up in the theme and decided to pull them together into a single reel.
I really need to work on a short story, create the script, storyboard and then work on the visuals... but that sounds like a lot of time I don't have :)

Updated @TechieBySA prompt to provide more consistent outputs.
Includes:
1. Text position and layout (image reference)
2. Hexadecimal colour for the background
3. Weather Icons by Erik Flowers (influenced)
4. Icon base shape
[PROMPT]
CITY=New York, USA
Present a clear, 45° top-down isometric miniature 3D cartoon scene of New York, featuring its most iconic landmarks and architectural elements and use the provided layout for text/icon placement and font styling. Use the reference as a guide for the shape of the base of the city isometric icon.
Use soft, refined textures with realistic PBR materials and gentle, lifelike lighting and shadows. Integrate the current weather conditions directly into the city environment to create an immersive atmospheric mood.
Use a clean, minimalistic composition with a soft, solid-colored #ffcc00 background. At the top-center, place the title “New York. ” in large bold text, a prominent weather icon beneath it (use Weather Icons by Erik Flowers) beneath it, then the date (small text) and temperature (medium text).
All text must be centered with consistent spacing, and may subtly overlap the tops of the buildings. Square 1080x1080 dimension.
