June is National Indigenous History Month.
At AMDSB, we dedicated time to learning from, celebrating, and uplifting the voices and cultures of Indigenous Peoples. Here are some of our activities.

Today we celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day.
June 21, Summer Solstice, holds special significance for First Nations Peoples, Métis, and Inuit. In Canada, we dedicate the longest day of the year to celebrating and elevating Indigenous knowledge, perspectives, and cultures.
To all our students, families, and staff celebrating Eid al-Adhá, we extend our warmest wishes for a joyous holiday. This special occasion, also known as the "Festival of Sacrifice," is a time for reflection, giving, and unity.
AMDSB stands in solidarity with the Afzaal family in London, Ontario. We must not forget the beautiful lives that were taken on June 6, 2021, and we must collectively renew our spirit to counter this Islamophobic hate that plagues our communities. https://t.co/9SsZV6Ubb1
USA Today has released its top 5 WNBA Rookies, as of June 4th:
