This is why this game is getting stale/dying.

Every character mains complain "why does X have this and why does my character not have this" and then cry when everyone is just doing 50/50s. This game needs to stop buffing characters. Nerf everyone. And stop adding moves to cover their weakness.

The game is just so stale when EVERY game just proceeds like this:
Land random safe launcher/heat engager
Guess mid or low/high incorrectly and die
Get put at the wall, guess between safe homing mid wallsplat or plus on block power mid heat smash into another guessing game, into guess into another safe mid or -13 chunky low

That's literally it. If you try to sidestep or sidewalk you get clipped by strings, if you try to hold back and play patiently you will eat 500 plus on block mids with chip damage into forced stance mixup over and over. Just guess better. 0 movement needed, legit every game is just plus frames into plus frames while the other guy tries to throw out panic moves to somehow get out.

Nobody plays differently in this game. Everyone is a stance character 50/50 rushdown character with chip damage. Even Yoshimitsu is a 50/50 character now with kin f1+2 and I don't even like playing like it but I have to.

Game feels so horrible to play at high ranks atm because I don't feel like I'm interacting with the opponent, I'm just guessing correctly. I won? Oh yeah looks like I just guessed correctly. Oh I lost? too bad, i guessed wrong, no movement could have saved me from that

They have literally tried to make things unreactable in this game. Mixups like DVJ Homing Mid or Hellsweep have similar spinning animations so you're never reacting to this in a real game

Not that this is a better way to play Leo, but for w.e reason my* Leo playstyle incorporates these moves a lot like im playing CH T7. Something I don't see often from other Leo mains (tho my exposure is quite low admittedly)

(Also the most satisfying thing to do with Leo tbh)
