@kat_170_@liberte_av_tout@archi_tradition You see the problem here, there is no center. Also the Baltic states consider themself northerners. While Czech, Slovak and Hungarian people see themself as Central European.
@96navisailor@archi_tradition Exactly! Makes no sense, when you look at the map either. I know for a fact, that Hungarians and Slowakians see themself as middle European, and they are!
@the_junka Actually not the same thing, since the aerial shows Pest from south to north, and the people walking towards Gellรฉrt hegy on Buda from north to south.
@GWaldmensch So true! Since this month I work at the BiodiversityCenter in upper Austria, and the entomological survey shows the exactly same image as you -just in reality. Biomass is rapidly decreasing and species disapear.
On a lighter note, there is a fish in the air in the 2020 image.๐
@rohitshinde121 Yes, you are absolutely right about carbs, which are the main issue here.
I believed for 10+ years, that it's all about calories in-out and exercise, but that's just half of the story. Times are stressful and gained weight anyway. Now I eat low carb-high fat - better than ever.
@TimothyEveland 1200s, regarding armour, ut culturaly Renaissance.
For 500s you could have chosen celtic or germanic armour, to make it fit better with the later ones.
@MalayDTraveller @konstructivizm This Image is 100% AI generated, has nothing in common how real mountain ranges look like.
There are many real photographs by real astronauts. Or you could also look at it on Google Earth with the 3D function.
@KingVelesI I assume you talk about ego-shooter games. I never liked those, I'm an action-RPG guy, and those games always inspired my imagination. I drew bestiaries, built a miniature castle in the yard, knitted mail and wanted to explore the real world. Now I'm a professional sculptor.
@apewhale@NolanAnalyst I will post it soon here and on Instagram, follow me there on sebastianjasper86and you will soon see a pencil drawing of a realistic cyclops.
@EEnergyarts@PillarsotPast I worked in nature history museums (Budapest HU, Stralsund DE, and Karlsruhe DE and measured a LOT of skulls. Acuracy matters verry much, and optics make a difference, that's why we use calipers and not tapes. Btw I studied mammal anatomy and morphology.
@_lll_llll_lll_@PillarsotPast That's exactly my point, the measure would show a smaller size, if a caliper would have been used, how it should have been done.

@PillarsotPast True, I don't know your work, but I'm curious, and will check it out!
I can only go with what is shown, and that seemed misleading to me, but I appologize, if I'm wrong!
@PatrickSqueeb@PillarsotPast If you put the tape measure not exactly on the thing you are measuring, it will corrupt the measurement. if you put it in front, the skull will look smaller, if you put it behind, it will appear bigger.
Perspective matters!
@truthpole I think the aliens you talk about are not extraterrestrials, but rather psychoactive substances, like mushrooms.
If you think about, that fungi connect different organisms through mycels and enable different species to exchange substances. This makes more sense to me.
