I am producing a printed journal of the first “Go-West Trip” from last year and I just love these photos of the prairie dogs I photographed outside of Denver in the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge. Love these little doggies! #prariedogs#rockymountainarsenal
Phantom Ship Island in Crater Lake is over 16 stories high and made of erosion resistant lava. This is the closest I could get to it since most of the Rim Road was closed due to the excessive amounts of snow still in the park. #craterlakenationalpark#oregon#phantomshipisland
@marybethbergen It was probably my favorite site to photograph (toss up with the Redwoods). Each of these photos has great stories behind them that I’ll never forget.
I arrived at GSDNP around 1:00 Colorado time and I haven’t stopped shooting since. Even in the line coming in, I was snapping out the car window. My campsite is the perfect place to set composition. It is like shooting fish out of a barrel--one perfect shot after another!
As the sun sets on the dunes, so it does on my journey. I head east tomorrow, and meander home. “I’m tired, I think I’ll go home now.” ~Forrest Gump. #journeysend#tripofalifetime#coasttocoast
Day 20
Heading into Salt Lake City for a “restock & regroup” time: hotel bed, shower, shave, then heading off to Colorado for more adventures. #tripofaligetime#gowesttour#photography#journey
