Riddhi Jadav has married a Muslim YouTuber and is now seen wearing a burkha.

Let me make one thing clear first, I have absolutely no problem with her marriage or what she chooses to wear. It’s her life, her choice. She can marry whoever she wants and dress however she wants.

My issue is something else.
Before marriage, she used to constantly raise questions like "Why can’t women wear shorts in temples?" and make several arguments targeting Hindu traditions.

To be clear, I personally don’t even have a problem with girls wearing shorts. Indians were wearing short garments centuries before Western culture even existed, so calling shorts "western culture" is itself misleading.

But the question is, why insist on wearing them inside temples?
Why create a public controversy around something that was never really an issue?

Why mislead thousands of young girls by portraying Hindu traditions as oppressive and then eventually end up embracing a patriarchal system where you can't even show your face publicly?
