@SeanFraserMP @SeanFraserMP please provide work permits or TRV to spouses of PR and citizens while they are waiting for their spousal application outland to be processed. Currently processing time is 24 months. Non immigrants have provision to bring spouses on work permits while studying.

@lingua_franqa @smeurrens Yes inland applicant has provision to do either. If you and your spouse are in canada he/she eligible for open work permit.

@CitImmCanada IRCC is giving opportunity to spouses of students and PGWP for open work permits under family reunification.👍 On contrary, Spouses and dependent child's of permanent residents doesn't have opportunity of open work permits, have to wait for file to be processed.👎
