We would love your feedback or suggestions.

AI tools get a homegrown PDF SDK to a working demo in a sprint. That demo only has to handle your test files, but production gets whatever customers upload, and that’s where prototypes break.

Not all PDFs are PDF/A compliant. Compressing or merging strips out what made it compliant and leaves the metadata saying it still is. Nothing warns you until compliance issues emerge.

Here's how JPedal handles this:

We already support /Brotli for PDF and noticed some tools adding unofficial implementation for JPEG XL so we have added support for /JPXDecode just in case in our software

Is it too early for Christmas planning? 🎄

We're already planning our Christmas party at IDR Solutions!

Our celebrations usually involve silly jumpers, games and plenty of pizza 🍕

We're still deciding what to do this year.

Does your company have a Christmas party tradition?

We analysed 726 PDFs and 763 PNGs to see how both formats really stack up in terms of file size. Some of the results were not what we expected. If you care about file storage for documents and images, the full breakdown is here:

We used to find this when we ran free #NetBeans events in UK. And the most annoying thing was a waiting list and empty spaces from noshows https://t.co/tsY0OdqrNN

New tutorial: PDF text redaction in Java with JPedal — GDPR-safe, ~20 lines of code. https://t.co/IvMnApiadL #Java #PDF #GDPR

[IDRsolutions @JavaPDF]

Drawing a black box over PDF text isn't redaction. The text is still there — copy-paste it and see. True redaction removes it from the content stream too. Here's how to do both in Java with JPedal in under 20 lines. 🧵 https://t.co/2E3akEedci #Java #PDF #JPedal
