@grz_szymanowski@EstherPerel@BBCNewshour I think it might be not so easy to put this into practice in a discussion. But definitely a good first step before entering one.
I recommend a good, short and entertaining read related to perceptions:
"They all saw a cat" by Brendan Wenzel
:)
@SerdarVardar_@RudenkoMary @takondratenko My recommendation would be to look at the specific uni. Think of what you want and ask whether it's covered and look at their teaching quality.
The tools are not the core, so in the end DS and DA are not the same, even though they share these.
E.g. you might want APIs covered
@SerdarVardar_@RudenkoMary @takondratenko I would say that the data scientist can be regarded an advanced analyst.
The data analyst will have a stronger emphasiz on reporting, I would say, and be less explorative/predicitve.
DS will be more mathematical
DA will be less m. and probably involve more business stuff.
@PamietamZawsze@SerdarVardar_@BartStaszewski Dammit. My previous post got liked by a catholic PiS person. Last thing I wanted. I guess it could be misunderstood.
I just wanted to learn more about what lead to you comment. How does the government pay for it?
This is the second piece I shoot in Poland with my beloved @BeaChristofaro
We interviewed @BartStaszewski about the threaths he has been facing for his LGBT 🏳️🌈 activism in Poland 🇵🇱

@SerdarVardar_ I agree, that it's not the main reason for the vast presence of fake news, but sharing it without fact checking and reasoning imho disqualifies journalists. On the hunt for clicks, being one of the first or smth. similar aren't a good mindset for this job.
