Angelica's conspiracy theory: The Anglo countries (US, Canada, Australia, etc) knows how to build housing perfectly well. They don't because they've relied on ever-increasing housing prices as a way to keep their voters happy. If a bunch of Singapore-style HBD apartments just appeared out of nowhere housing would crash 20% instantly as an asset class and you'll get a financial crisis nobody would know what to do with.
Countries that want sustainable economic growth and to grow their Middle Class should those countries that actually did so and then figure out which policies can actually be adapted.
If you want skilled jobs then you need skilled labour which means investing heavily in education and training.
If you want business investment then you ensure strong legal framework, efficient courts and low crime.
If you want to reduce a brain drain and even get some to return then listen to their reasons for leaving and address ALL of the reasons with speed.
None of this is rocket science.
“Tell that dude we hired 6 weeks ago to post that thread about how AI is going to kill everyone. Great. Have the alignment team repost it. Wow, didn’t think it’d go that viral. Feed the NYT a story about us stopping bioweapons. Perfect. Finalize the S1 IPO docs for next week.”
Meet one of Jamaica's rarest animals—the Jamaican Cave Velvet Worm (Speleoperipatus spelaeus). This ancient "living fossil" is found nowhere else on Earth and survives in only a handful of caves. It hunts by firing sticky slime to trap its prey.
Have you ever seen a velvet worm in Jamaica? If so, snap a photo, note the location, and share your observation with @RoostersWorldJA. Your sighting could help researchers better understand and protect this incredible species.
