Boring Marketer- I love your stuff. If you want your quiz funnel to capture great leads faster than a cheetah after a double espresso I'd use:
"There's a pile of rocket fuel hiding in your SEO strategy.
Take our Boring Quiz to find out EXACTLY where it is and how to use it for a 400% increase in monthly visitors to your site. (We've never missed -- 1200 businesses and counting😉)"
I'd structure the quiz with a variation of what you would go through on your 30-minute consultation/strategy sessions, to understand the problem. Then the solutions the quiz can provide are around content length, content quality, keyword quality, long tail vs short, etc.
Then send them to the round-robin and let the sales team shine! Hope this helps.
The intrigue with “different” is oooooozing from the sides.
Bouncer: “our night club is…different”
Waiter: “the vodka sauce is…different 😉”
Guy at local dive bar hitting on someone: “sweetheart my love is…different”
An absolute must for anyone looking for more conversions from their words.
I don't know who needs to hear this, but your personality and take on ANYTHING is 100x more interesting to a prospect/reader/client/anyone than copying a template and doing "what everyone else is doing".
For an extra boost go all in on infusing oomph, humor, and originality into your communication online. (emails, ads, sites) -
Here's a real example from an email a fitness company sent me today:
Subject line - "Don't Miss Out! Less than 24 hours left!"
The body copy consisted of a graphic uploaded to the page, with 6 common benefits of using this specific service, and a buy now button.
Ok, I respect the offer but I've seen a version of this 500 times before...
WHERE'S THE OHO? (oomph, humor, originality). Coming right up, M'Lord!
