This week we visited Hobbs in the far SE corner of our state. We met with civil rights leaders, early childhood educators, entrepreneurs & with familias! Our work to build a world class early childhood system is laying the foundation for transformative change in that community.

Like so many Americans, my parents came to this country because they believed in the American Dream. 

While some folks in D.C. may have lost sight of our nation's fundamental values, we the people know that decency and hope will win out in the end.
