I remember when we took over this campus; the building needs were endless, but little by little, we saw a miracle of resurrection take place. Since then, new people started coming, and hundreds of souls have been saved. Today, I’m grateful we said, ‘Yes, we will go.’ I want to encourage pastors that if you’ve taken over an older building and are feeling overwhelmed, the seed of that building is in itself. Keep building! 💪
Thank you @JavonRuff + Shana, and all of our staff and volunteers who help make ministry happen at this campus every week.
Some, to their detriment, confuse impetuosity with boldness. Others suffer brain-freeze at less than momentous decisions. Great leaders master the decision-making challenge. Great leaders are decisive but never reckless.
As China expands its influence across Sub-Saharan Africa, I'm introducing the HBCU-Africa Partnership Act to bolster America’s learning institutions while combating authoritarianism and promoting economic security across the continent.

Super gifted “One trick ponies” seldom make long haul great leaders. Great leaders have natural gifts but as they grow and mature they intentionally cultivate new skills and acquire knowledge. Great leaders are great learners.
